Park IP Translations Thanks Translators Who are Connecting the World

Happy International Translation Day 2016!

Park IP Translations, a Welocalize company, would like to thank all the translators who keep us connected around the world.

International Translation Day is September 30th each year, also known as the Feast of St. Jerome, who is considered the patron saint of translators. The day is supported by the International Federation of Translators (FIT), who have given this year’s day the theme of “connecting worlds.”

Languages are increasingly essential as globalization impacts nearly every aspect of our modern lives. The facts are simple, to engage in business and economic progress outside of domestic markets, we need to translate content linguistically and culturally to ensure it is accurate and relevant.

Language and communication impacts the development of all industries: life sciences, legal, consumer products, manufacturing, education, technology,  and finance. Every piece of content may potentially have to be understood by multilingual audiences and also conform to local laws and regulations. Translation and localization is critical to the globalization journey from patent protection to marketing.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all translators, linguists and language specialists all over the world.

You are all amazing!

Happy International Translation Day 2016!
