IPO (Intellectual Property Owners Association)
Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), established in 1972, is a trade association for owners of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. IPO is the only association in the U.S. that serves all intellectual property owners in all industries and all fields of technology. IPO advocates for effective and affordable IP ownership rights and provides a wide array of services to members, including: supporting member interests relating to legislative and international issues; analyzing current IP issues; information and educational services; and disseminating information to the general public on the importance of intellectual property rights.
BIO is the world’s largest trade association representing biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. BIO members are involved in the research and development of innovative healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products. BIO also produces the BIO International Convention, the world’s largest gathering of the biotechnology industry, along with industry-leading investor and partnering meetings held around the world.
ChIPs was founded by seven women heads of patents and intellectual property from major technology companies in Silicon Valley with the mission of supporting and promoting the advancement, development and retention of women in technology and IP. The organization leads initiatives and holds events to further these goals, including through substantive and inspiring speakers, relationship building, mentoring, education, best-practice sharing and other forms of support. Since its inception, membership in ChIPs has steadily grown through word of mouth, and the organization has now expanded nationwide. ChIPs is a Nonprofit Corporation. Park IP is a Bronze level sponsor of the 2016 ChIPs Women in IP Global Summit.
Leading Women in Technology
Park IP Translations is a sponsor of the non-profit organization Leading Women in Technology. Leading Women in Technology is dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in technology. Founded in 2011, the organization offers professional development programs to provide women with critical business leadership skills needed during the various stages of their careers. Leading Women in Technology is based in the San Francisco Bay area and has recently announced their expansion to New York City.
